![]() ![]() The inclusion of Rathma as an integral part of Diablo 4's story is certainly a welcome way to further expand on the lore of the beloved action-RPG series. The game utilizes a shared world system where groups may encounter one another, engaging in both PvE (PvM) and PvP activities dungeons are instanced, however, and can only be done with multiple players through the party system. ![]() Hopefully, as fans patiently await the release of Diablo 4, Blizzard will give us more insight to what the story behind Diablo 4 will be so that we can answer this question and many more as the cinematic requires tons of knowledge of the lore of the Diablo universe. Diablo IV can be played solo or in a group of up to 4 players per party. Of course, this brings into question that if Rathma is indeed the man depicted in the cinematic, why would he summon Lilith if he belives she will disrupt the balance of good and evil? Rathma's main drive is to preserve the balance of good and evil, which conflicts with the intentions of both his mother and father. I’m unclear who the grey man is who helps summoner, but I wonder if he could be one. Lilith, the succubi Queen, created the fore-bearers of humanity, known as Nephalem, with Rathma being a part of the first generation. Blizzard has officially unveiled Diablo 4 with a fantastic new trailer, nine minutes worth of cinematics. In the cinematic, the man also calls Lilith "mother", further proving the theory. ![]() Rathma, the progenitor of the Priests of Rathma Necromancers and the son of Lilith, had previously been described as being tall and having white pale skin and typically covering his hair with a hood.
